Backstory: Andra grew up high within the mountains, a cold, inhospitable wasteland of blizzards and hulking, raging behemoths. Always a small one, Andra suffered relentless taunting by other children. Though she was win their respect with a flurry of punches, she would continue to be teased for it. Even as she grew older, her body was slow to follow. Even now at the tender age of 20, Andra is still petite sight among the other more muscular and voluptuous men and women of her tribe.

On turning 20, Andra swore to make end the teasing she faced. Within the center of her village sat a molten slab, a single blade plunged into the heated rock. It was Grand-Pyre, the only bit of their deity that had escaped his imprisonment. An ever heated blade that could ignite at the behest of its wielder, this massive sword could only be wielded by one whose inner flame burned brighter than its own. With determination burning within, Andra drew the blade with ease, earning her a great deal of respect and awe. Sadly, she was still teased for her size.

Personality: Despite her short comings, Andra is a very proud individual. She will boast of her strengths and accomplishments, and will eagerly accept any challenge put before her. Weak to teasing, she will anger quickly if she feels she is being mocked, and will seldom think before accepting a challenge to prove herself. Despite all this, she is still kind and light hearted, happily joining those she had fought against should they prove to be warrior's like herself.

Abilities: As expected of a barbarian, Andra fights with brute force above all else. Just a punch from the small girl can send even the toughest of enemies reeling, and her expertise with Grand-Pyre let her cut (or burn) away anything that survives. As per Raserei's gift onto her people, Andra can enter an enraged state, ignoring nearly any outside stimulation while gaining a boost in power, all without losing herself to murderous urges or suffering a loss of reason.

Equipment: First and foremost in Andra's arsenal is her blade, Grand-Pyre. A massive zweihander with an almost chitinous look, Grand-Pyre can generate all consuming flames to lick all along the blade, burning foes just as well as it can cut. Focusing, Andra can turn the flames inward, lending the blade extraordinary cutting power, enough so to rend through even the toughest material with ease. Having spent most of her days within a near frozen landscape, Andra is easily able to survive even the most harrowing temperatures with ease, even should she be naked. For that reason, all she has on her torso is a simple bearskin bra that ends at her bottom ribs. A bearskin tasset wraps around her waist, leading into leather boots that cover her feet and shins.

Fun Facts:

Andra and her kinsmen all suffer a curse; Depending on the individual, certain sensations can sap their gifted strength entirely. In the case of those already possessing strength of their own, they can still fend for themselves readily enough. For those like Andra, the gift is all their strength. In Andra's case, a sufficient amount of tickling will make her weak as a newborn babe, unable even to stand under the weight of her weapon!

Despite acting fearless, the sight of feathers makes her uneasy, due to her curse. Her brazen choice in attire is one to appear undaunted by any threat, though that can lead to her downfall, in the right cases...

Introducing a long time OC of mine; Andra Pyre-Heart! Hailing from a northern tribe of barbarians that follow the fallen deity Raserei, Andra possesses extraordinary might, belying her rather petite frame. Able to heft her massive zweihander with ease and split boulders with a punch, she is gifted just as her fellow barbarians are; holding terrible power, nigh inexhaustible endurance and most importantly, a gift from their deity; The ability to utilize the benefits of succumbing to rage, without the loss of reason or thinking power.
